B H S Kinetic Inc. is a logistics and engineering company which specializes in providing technical and logistical services, with emphasis in the semiconductor sector, managing our clients’ highly sensitive and precision manufacturing equipment.
Position Profile:
Responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, negotiating contracts and agreements, and developing marketing strategies. The job role requires understanding of market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify opportunities to expand and grow business revenues and profits.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Possess working experience in business development, sales and marketing, or a similar function, preferably in the service sector.
- “Hunting” – Grow the company’s sales revenue to meet revenue and profit performance scorecard targets by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, developing viable business proposals, and closing sales deals.
- “Farming” – Manage portfolio of customer accounts, understand customers’ feedback and service requirements, collaborate closely with operations departments to address customer needs, and value-add by developing additional business opportunities with existing customers.
- Actively engage in commercial/contract negotiations with existing and potential customers by performing costing and pricing estimations and drafting business plans and proposals for clients.
- Monitor the entire tender bidding process and meet all required timelines for all business tenders.
- Evaluate data, statistics, and trends from internal information systems, market reports, and business intelligence to develop price-setting policies and methodologies, as well as on-point marketing strategies, to achieve optimal customer base and market share.
- Prepare and analyze business reports such as Actual Sales, Sales Forecasts/Pipelines, Project Costs & Profitability, Payment Collections, and others that give insight into how the company can make changes and adjustments to improve performance.
- Assist in the mid- to long-term strategic business plan to identify business development initiatives and investment opportunities.
- Prepare marketing and management presentations, feasibility studies, and investment proposals for business opportunities, capital investment, and business strategy papers.
- Attend trade conferences and corporate events to expand network with regulators, customers, and business partners.
- Possess good networking and communication skills with strong relationship-building attributes.
- Work well in a fast-paced high-tech environment.
- Be pleasant and possess good interpersonal skills.
- Take the initiative to reach out to clients as and when required.
- Assist General Manager and Commercial Head and work as a member of a cohesive team.
- Handle any ad hoc duties or tasks as assigned by management.
Career Prospects:
Candidates can aspire to take on a leadership role in the Commercial Department as a Supervisor, leading to managerial level.
Critical Skills/Knowledge:
Good working knowledge and experience in semiconductor sector preferred, but not a must
